Decker Shado Reviews Monster Island

Monster Island, the Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster was released at the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about the mysterious island where a monstrous creature resides, and in a sense the creature is the island itself.


To cut costs, only a handful of Monster Island (2019) from Decker Shado human characters are used in the film. The A-listers are kept on one set so that they can all shoot sequences at lunch. The Asylum may not do so badly considering that it's a kaiju-themed film.
